Studio 11:2015

For the month of October, my work has been hanging at Fiore’s Bakery  on South St. in Jamaica Plain. The show will be coming down this Friday. If you’re in the neighborhood, stop in and take a peek if you haven’t already- they have the best baked goods and sandwiches in town!

Faces of Harvest

My work is hanging at Harvest Co-op in Jamaica Plain until the first or second week of April! featuring new portraits of five Harvest employees. Paintings will come down soon, I hope you get a chance to stop in and see them this week if you haven’t already!

A sketch of my friend I made while we were camping in the Blue Hills AMC cabins- listening to Casey play guitar and playing hearts during a rainy Memorial day weekend.

Maternal Love

This may be one of my favorite drawings. There is nothing as gentle and loving as a mother with her baby. When I see it now, it brings me back to the moment I drew it. At that time, I was feeling lonely and overwhelmed with sadness, but peaceful. This sight was like a soft reminder, it gave me a glimpse into the true essence of things: we are all okay, there is a fundamental love and rhythm.
